House of Hide offers curated clothing and accessories through our website houseofhide.com.au.
These Terms of Sale, along with our Privacy Policy and Website Terms and Conditions, apply to your use of our online shop and the supply of products ordered via our website.
By ordering products from our online shop, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Online Shopping Terms and Conditions.
Terms of Sale
Purchasing Products 1.1 You may purchase products offered online by House of Hide by navigating the catalogue and shopping cart available on our website.
1.2 To purchase products via our website, you must be at least 18 years of age.
1.3 By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and that all information you provide is accurate, complete, and not misleading.
Prices 2.1 All prices are in Australian dollars.
2.2 Prices include Australian Goods & Services Tax (GST) unless your billing address is outside Australia.
2.3 Prices exclude delivery charges, customs duties, and other taxes, if applicable.
2.4 GST will be applied to all purchases delivered within Australia regardless of where the Customer is located.
2.5 All prices are subject to change without notice.
Payment 3.1 Full payment for your order (including product price and applicable delivery charges) will be deducted from your chosen payment method upon completion of your order.
3.2 We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
3.3 We do not retain or store credit card details.
Gift Cards
Redeemable online gift cards may be purchased online and are valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase.
Discount Codes
Only one discount code may be applied per order at checkout. For assistance or questions about using a discount code, please email us at info@houseofhide.com.au.
Shipping and Delivery 6.1 You must enter the correct delivery address details at the time of ordering.
6.2 If goods are returned due to an incorrect address provided, you will be required to pay shipping costs to the correct address before the release of your items.
6.3 Most items will be shipped within three (3) business days (unless otherwise specified) of receiving cleared funds.
6.4 Purchases made over the weekend or on a public holiday will be processed on the next business day and shipped within three (3) business days (unless otherwise specified).
Shipping within Australia 6.5 All items are shipped via Australia Post or a third-party shipping service provider.
6.6 Orders under $300 are charged standard shipping.
6.7 Orders $300 and over are shipped free of charge (standard shipping).
6.8 Express shipping is available at checkout
6.9 Standard shipping items are scheduled for delivery within seven (7) business days.
6.10 Express shipping items are scheduled for delivery within 1–4 business days.
Shipping to New Zealand 6.11 All items are shipped via a third-party shipping company, Sendle or Australia Post.
6.12 Shipping fees for all orders are weight based
6.13 Items are scheduled to arrive within 7–14 business days.
Insurance 6.14 House of Hide insures goods from our warehouse via Sendle or Australia Post to the value of $100 per shipment.
Returns Policy
IMPORTANT NOTICE: We strive to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase. The following conditions apply to all returns and requests for refunds or exchanges.
7.1 All returned products must be in new and unused condition, unworn (if applicable), with all tags and original packaging intact and in saleable condition.
7.2 For hygiene reasons, some products (e.g., dummies and teething toys) may not be returned for health and safety reasons.
7.3 Refunds are not offered for change of mind.
7.4 Refunds are not provided for circumstances that do not require a refund under Australian Consumer Law.
Exchange 7.5 Exchange requests must be received within seven (7) days of purchase.
7.6 For House of Hide to issue an exchange, the returned item must:

7.7 We will respond within 48 hours of receipt with further instructions.
7.8 Ensure returned items are properly sealed and packaged to avoid damage in transit.
7.9 Any damage to return items during transit will be your responsibility, and we cannot accept return items that arrive damaged.
Address for Returns
7.10 Email us at admin@houseofhide.com.au to notify us of your intention to return an item. We will reply within 48 hours with instructions and the return address.

7.11 House of Hide does not accept responsibility for items sent by you.
7.12 Use a tracked parcel service with insurance.
7.13 Ensure all requested information is included in the parcel for identity verification.
7.14 We cannot guarantee the availability of items for exchange at the time of receipt of returned items.
7.15 If items are not available for exchange, we will notify you to discuss further steps.
Postage Fee Management
7.16 House of Hide will reimburse return postage for faulty items or errors (e.g., dispatching an incorrect item) using Sendle or standard Australian Post services.
Faulty or Defective Items
7.17 House of Hide reserves the right to inspect and assess returned merchandise that has been worn before processing a refund or exchange.
7.18 We will provide a full refund and reimburse return shipping costs via Sendle or standard Australian Post if the item has a genuine manufacturer’s fault or defect, provided:

You notify us of defects or faults within seven (7) days of receiving the order, including your name, order number, details of the defect, and a photo of the item and defect.

Items are examined for faults or defects upon receipt. You will be notified within 48 hours of whether the items are deemed faulty.

If deemed faulty, a replacement will be shipped if available, or a full refund will be issued.

Returns will be processed within five (5) business days from receipt at House of Hide’s office.
Refunds
7.19 Upon receiving and approving the return, we will email you confirming the refund.
7.20 Allow five (5) working days for refund examination and approval.
7.21 Refunds may take 1–7 days to appear in your nominated bank account.
Special Offers
8.1 House of Hide may offer special promotions from time to time.
8.2 We may terminate any special offer without advance notice.
8.3 If terminated, the special offer will continue to apply to products ordered in good faith under these Terms before the termination.
Pre-orders
9.1 Pre-order items may be offered from time to time. By placing a pre-order, you agree:

If you purchase an in-stock item with a pre-order item, the in-stock order will be held and dispatched with the pre-order item upon receipt at our warehouse.

Delivery dates are estimates only and not guaranteed.

You cannot cancel an order that includes a pre-order.

Liability and Waiver
10.1 Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
10.2 You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for other foreseeable loss or damage.
10.3 You are entitled to have products replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and do not amount to a major failure.
10.4 You may be entitled to remedies under Australian Consumer Law if services supplied fail to meet a consumer guarantee.
10.5 To the extent legally permitted, House of Hide is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages related to the supply of products or services.
10.6 This exclusion applies to all legal causes of action, including but not limited to contract, warranty, or negligence.
10.7 Refunds are the total amount of liability for all circumstances related to the refund.
