Real leather is not fragile. It's actually one of the most durable materials you can own. It just needs a little attention every now and then. Think of it like a good friendship: low maintenance, but not zero maintenance.

The good news: cracking, drying out, water stains, and mould are all preventable. All fixable. This guide covers everything you need to know.

The Essentials: Cleaning, Conditioning & Storage

Cleaning Your Leather

Daily: Wipe with a dry or barely damp cloth after use. Takes 30 seconds, makes a huge difference over time.

Monthly: Give it a proper clean when it starts to look dull.

  • Apply a small amount of leather cleaner or saddle soap to a damp cloth
  • Work it in with small circular motions
  • Wipe residue with a clean damp cloth
  • Allow to dry completely at room temperature
